Country Blossoms Greenhouse is so much more than a business, it’s our family’s passion, spanning over four generations! A family owned and operated greenhouse, Country Blossoms Greenhouse has been beautifying homes, lawns, and gardens since 2002. We take pride in what we do and strive to offer you the very best in flowers, plants, trees, shrubs and perennials, ceramic pots and decorations, along with Seasonal Event Flower Rental.

To ensure that we are bringing you the very best quality, we primarily sell the Proven Winners Brand. Why Proven Winners? The Proven Winner’s Brand is a Patented Vegetative Plant which is reproduced by cuttings only. For that reason, the plants are actually a second generation product making them superior to plants started from seed.

The Hobby that went mad and brought us here today

It started from the idea that the quantity of plants we were buying each year to decorate our home could be grown in our own Greenhouse. Needless to say, during the first few years we were still buying plants for our gardens!

I will never forget on a very cold December Sunday morning when our son and I were putting the roof on house number 1 and he asked: “Dad why can’t you be normal?” I asked, “why?” He replied: “all of my friends have Dads that have nice Boats, Trucks or Snowmobiles, you’re building a Greenhouse!!!”

Although we are only in our 13th year of operation, at any given time you will see 4 generations of family working together. This really exemplifies the meaning of a Family Business. What a pleasure it was to have Grandma Jo ( 85 years young) working with Great Granddaughter Alexis (15 years old ) or Karen in a challenging discussion with Steph or Lindsey, David pushing for help from Scott or Dan….along with Griffin, Jackson and Blake!! Family Fun!

Second to the family is our understanding “Part Time Help” that rounds out the remainder of the “Country Blossom Team”. Without everyone working together, there is no way this could have happened.

The first greenhouse was built in late 2001, opening in the spring of 2002. The second house was ready in the spring of 2003. We stuttered for a year, opening the 3rd house in the spring of 2005 with the remaining three houses showing up over the next several years.

Proven Winners is a Patented Vegetative Plant which is reproduced by cuttings only. For that reason the plants are actually a second generation product making them superior to plants started from seed. For every PW plant that is brought in to be sold we are required to pay a royalty.

Karen has slowly moved from a Greenhouse operation to a Garden Center with all of her Stuff ( The family calls Karen’s Junk )!!!!!

Today selling plants remains our “Core Business” although we have slowly moved into selling Trees, Shrubs and perennials, Ceramic pots and Decorations, along with Seasonal Event Flower Rental.

Karen continues to be the main contact with the rest of us listed as members of her support team!
